I spent the last 3 years as the graphic designer of the New Mexico State Chapter of the American Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (ASBMB). I created several posters, as well as created a new logo and identity for a Research symposium which hosted over 100 participants.
POSTERS
The ASBMB Symposium
During the fall of 2021, I lead the NMSU ASBMB to host a research symposium with over 100 attendees. I was tasked with using design to create an entire identity for our symposium.
Symposium name tags
In designing for a research symposium it was important to create a personal feel for all participants. Name tags was a great way to ensure everyone new each others name, and knew how to find help if needed. Tags were designed in a such a way that by looking at each others badge you could tell what role in the organization everyone played.

Certificate of Recognition
Although the real award was a $500 travel award, we chose to give a physical certificate to our top presenters. This helped provide a professional appearance and by by printing on heavy weight cardstock I created an award worth framing.

Symposium program and itinerary
In order to ensure that participants knew where they needed to be at all times, I created a program which gave instructions on finding our location and included times for all events.
